Logline
After the death of Abhimanyu and their son Abhir, Akshu lives with her daughter Abhira and practises law. Abhira is a cheerful bubbly girl who helps her mother financially and aspires to be a lawyer. Armaan Poddar and Ruhi Birla arrive as guests at the resort where Akshu and Abhira work. Soon their lives are intertwined as the story progresses.

Abhira
22 years later, Abhira, Akshara and Abhinav’s daughter lives in Mussoorie with her mother. Akshara practises law while Abhira studies law. The mother-daughter duo works as caretakers at a resort for financial support. She marries Armaan as per Akshu’s dying wish.
Akshara: Abhira’s mother
After her sister’s death, a pregnant Akshara is disowned by her own family. She soon loses her ex-husband and her son in a tragic accident and moves to Mussoorie, to live alone.
Ruhi: Abhira’s cousin sister, Armaan’s love interest, Rohit’s wife
Aarohi and Neil’s daughter lives with Manish and Swarna in Udaipur. She visits Akshara’s resort to celebrate Manish’s birthday. There she meets Armaan Poddar and develops feelings for him. However, she ends up marrying Armaan’s younger brother Rohit due to misunderstandings between her and Armaan.
Armaan: Ruhi’s love interest, Rohit’s brother, Abhira’s husband
A successful lawyer from the Poddar family visits Mussorie with his family, to celebrate Dadi’s birthday. Armaan falls for Ruhi. He marries Abhira after making a promise to Akshu that he will always take care of Abhira after she dies.
Rohit: Armaan’s brother, Ruhi’s husband
Armaan’s half brother Rohit is the Poddar family’s most favourite son. He is married to Ruhi Birla, but soon learns that she loves his older brother Armaan.
Yuvraj: Abhira’s obsessed love
The son of a MLA Jagraj Singh falls for Abhira and gets obsessed with her. Abhira rejects him, but he forces her to marry him. Akshu gets shot by Yuvraj in an attempt to protect Abhira from Yuvraj, and he gets arrested.
Plot points
[Arohi dies in an accident. Akshara is disowned by the family when she takes the blame on her for Ruhi’s negligence. Akshara and Abhimanyu decide to unite, but a tragedy kills Abhimanyu and Abhir.]
- Akshara lives with her 22-year-old daughter Abhira in Mussoorie.
- Abhira meets Armaan Poddar and his family at the resort where she works. Ruhi Birla arrives there with her family.
- Armaan and Ruhi fall for each other during their stay at the resort. Akshu fails to meet the Goenkas who arrive with Ruhi at the resort.
- Armaan and Ruhi start an affair but miscommunication brews misunderstanding between them.
- Armaan’s brother, Rohit Poddar’s alliance is sent to Ruhi. Due to a lack of communication between Armaan and Ruhi, she agrees to marry Rohit. Armaan leaves for an urgent case when Rohit and Ruhi’s pre-wedding and wedding rituals commence.
- Ruhi and Armaan are shocked to realize that the former is marrying Armaan’s brother, Rohit. After confronting each other about their miscommunications, Ruhi tries to convince Armaan to go and confess their affair to the Poddars, but he refuses.
- Yuvraj kidnaps Abhira and Akshu after which he calls Armaan threatening to make Akshu pay for his misdeed of leaving his case and aiding to prove him guilty in court.
- Yuvraj keeps Akshu at gunpoint and asks Abhira to marry him. Meanwhile, Armaan comes to Abhira’s rescue and Akshu gets shot trying to save Armaan.
- Armaan marries Abhira to fulfill Akshu’s last wish while Ruhi gets married to Rohit despite loving Armaan.
- Abhira questions a few post-wedding traditions at the Poddar House upsetting Armaan’s Dadi. Later, when Dadi questions her upbringing Abhira proves her capabilities to Dadi by engaging in tasks like fixing a car, bulb, and gardening.
- Rohit learns about Armaan and Ruhi’s affair and goes missing from home.
- Armaan marries Abhira after he promises to take care of Akshu.
- Rohit learns Ruhi loves another man. Later, he learns Ruhi and Armaan shared a past
