Ruhi gets upset and fights with Armaan when he fails to inform Abhira about their divorce. Abhira realises her feelings for Armaan. Later, she accidentally picks up Ruhi’s phone and learns from Manish that Ruhi is in love. Elsewhere, a mysterious man blackmails Dadi. |
Mangal receives a call from Ishana’s school, saying they caught her cheating in an exam. When Mangal fails to reach Adit, she visits Ishana’s school and requests the teacher to rethink the suspension. Meanwhile, under compelling circumstances, Gayatri consents to Kartik-Jiya’s engagement. Later, the priest pours ice water on Lakshmi when Shanti accuses her of breaking her fast. |

Dadi’s mysterious blackmailer kidnaps Ruhi and Abhira. He holds Ruhi captive at a cliff’s edge and keeps Abhira tied to a chair embedded with dynamite in another location. He threatens to kill them after 30 minutes, bounding a time frame for Armaan within which he can save any one of them. Abhira compels Armaan to save Ruhi while she courageously manages to escape her bondage. However, Armaan feels devastated hearing a blast. |
Kartik records Mangal and Lakshmi’s dance and teases them about it. Kusum ridicules Jiya’s modern temperament, instigating her to call off the wedding. However, Kusum’s plan backfires as Jiya announces to get engaged on that very day. Gayatri blames Kusum for wrecking Kartik’s life, while Kusum vows to distance herself from their lives. |
Sandeep threatens hostages, mentioning Preeta. Preeta tries to escape, aiding Rajveer when he’s shot. Rakhi intervenes and aids the family against the criminals. Ruhi shockingly interrupts them, reveals to have prepared their divorce papers and accuses Abhira of being a hassle in Armaan’s life. This leads to a heated argument. Abhira gives a befitting reply to Ruhi and gets upset at Armaan for letting Ruhi meddle in their relationship. |
Mangal goes to Gayatri’s house to speak with her, intending to pacify Kusum-Gayatri’s rift, but the guards deny her entry. Gayatri conducts the engagement, determined to conceal it from everyone while deceiving Kartik with Kusum’s acceptance. Kusum warns Mangal not to keep ties with Gayatri’s family. Meanwhile, Soumya sees Sanjana’s post about the engagement and tells Adit. |

While Kartik feels excited about his engagement, Jiya arrives at the party and calls off the wedding, accusing Kartik of not prioritizing her and blaming his traditional upbringing. Kartik learns that Kusum humiliated Jiya for having a modern personality, which prompted the latter to take the shocking step. Meanwhile, Mangal hopes for resolutions on the pious event of Ram Navami. |

The next day, the Poddars prepare for Gangaur and Dadi makes Abhira aware of its significance. |
Kartik confronts Kusum, urging her to accept Jiya despite her modern upbringing. Adit intervenes with a hidden agenda of sabotaging Kartik’s alliance, insisting he considers Kusum’s input of Jiya.
