Alerted by Sonu, Mangal rescues Lakshmi from the fake priest and brings her to her in-laws, where someone records them dancing together. Meanwhile, Kusum visits Jiya’s house. |
The Tandons face backlash from the media. Amar Dayal hurls illicit accusations against Trishna and Ranbeer. Monisha visits the police station with Deepika. Kartik records Mangal and Lakshmi’s dance and teases them about it. Kusum ridicules Jiya’s modern temperament, instigating her to call off the wedding. However, Kusum’s plan backfires as Jiya announces to get engaged on that very day. Gayatri blames Kusum for wrecking Kartik’s life, while Kusum vows to distance herself from their lives. |

Meanwhile, Mangal and Lakshmi pray for the family’s well-being. While serving offertory to girls, they meet Shanti and Lipika, who take Lakshmi back with them, vowing not to mistreat her. |

However, she warns her not to disclose Kartik’s relationship with Jiya to Mangal or Lakshmi. Mangal motivates Kartik not to give up when he is distressed. Later, Jiya burns all their photos and asks Kartik to leave. Elsewhere, Shanti plans to make Lakshmi do all the chores. |
