Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak – Kahani Ab Taak

In 2004, in the city of Ujjain, Rajneesh Raghuvanshi, a medical intern, is smitten when he sees Purnima, a humble girl who sells flowers to look after her ailing mother and fund her sister’s education. Babuji, the Raghuvanshi patriarch, proceeds with his family to the Mahakal temple while Damyanti, an astrologer, predicts Rajneesh might die. Purnima faces a financial crisis when the Raghuvanshis refuse to let the villagers take flowers from their gardens. Sumitra, Rajneesh’s mother, worries about Rajneesh and tries to warn him about the foretelling, but his life is already in danger as his boat reaches the edge of a waterfall.

Purnima unknowingly saves Rajneesh from drowning. When Sumitra seeks Damyanti’s help, she sees visions of a white tower with a large bell and asks her to warn Rajneesh about it. After an alert for a storm gets raised, Rajneesh, Nirvaan, Geetu, and Shreyas decide to head home. Rajneesh sees Purnima in danger and rushes to save her.

Rajneesh saves Purnima, and they seek refuge in the white tower. Purnima leaves, and Rajneesh escapes after the tower starts to crumble. Meanwhile, a man follows the duo secretly. Later, Rajneesh offers to drop Purnima home when her cycle breaks down, but she leaves on a tractor. The Raghuvanshis stress about Rajneesh after Nirvaan, Geetu, and Shreyas return home. Damyanti worries about her son, Chirag, when he does not come home.

Seeing Purnima stranded, Rajneesh gives her a lift home. Meanwhile, Chirag tries to crash into Rajneesh’s bike with his car but fails. Purnima returns home to a dilapidated house and feels disheartened seeing her hungry sister, Rati. Rajneesh returns home, and Sumitra urges him not to return to Delhi. Later, Purnima finds Rajneesh’s chain stuck to her Dupatta while Rajneesh holds onto the tassel stuck to his watch.

Rajneesh stops Murli from forcibly marrying Purnima. Purnima returns Rajneesh’s chain, severing all connections with him, but Rajneesh refuses to break ties with her. Damyanti requests Chirag to forgive the Raghuvanshis for their past actions, but he insists on harbouring a grudge. Later, Purnima struggles to gather money for rent while Rajneesh grapples with the idea of reincarnation.
