SMALL PLOTS AND TIMELY CONCLUSION:

1. JHANAK’S SUICIDE ATTEMPT: Jhanak steals sleeping pills from Aniruddh’s grandfather and overdoses. Aniruddh anxiously takes her to the hospital. She recovers and returns home.
2. JHANAK’S PERFORMANCE: Aniruddh attempts to convince Jhanak to perform at his office event and Jhanak’s performance.

• Helpless – Jhanak, entangled in a complex situation with Tejas, reluctantly marries Aniruddh to escape from Kashmir. Upon entering the Basu house, she takes up the job of a servant.
• Proud – Despite the obstacles, Jhanak respects herself and maintains a dignified personality when people start unjustly disrespecting her.
• Talented – Jhanak has displayed her dance skills on multiple occasions, showcasing her inherent talent, something that has even impressed Brij Bhushan.
• Righteous – Jhanak speaks up when she notices unjust treatment meted out to anyone. She has always supported Appu during her conflicting times.
• Independent – Although Jhanak leads a turbulent life, she never shies away from being self-dependent. She started off as a flower seller to support her family and now she insists on taking her own responsibility by leaving the Basu house.
• Vulnerable – At the end of the day, Aniruddh rescues her from countless threatening situations that she fails to grapple herself.
• Brave – Jhanak is not one who gives up easily and faces challenges wearing a brave face, be it Tejas or the Basus.
