Jeet: Heer’s childhood friend


Jeet is a loyal and caring friend, devoted to Heer. He harbours deep feelings for her but respects her choices, supporting her through thick and thin.

Rajvinder: Heer’s mother-in-law.

A formidable figure, influential and strategic. She’s determined to secure her family’s future and isn’t afraid to employ manipulative tactics to achieve her goals, even if it means manipulating relationships or situations.

Janral: Rajvinder’s son and Kuldeep’s elder brother.

Janral possesses a strong yet complex demeanour, is driven by power and is determined to do whatever it takes to keep his business running, even if it means resorting to extreme measures.

He’s an ambitious individual shaped by his mother Rajvinder’s influence, embodying a determined persona who pursues what he desires. He falls for Heer at first sight. Despite her initial rejection, they eventually get married. To save her, He takes a bullet intended for her and dies.

 


Plot points 

  1. Heer, a spirited girl from Punjab, is engrossed in preparing for her final law exams. Her father, Beant Singh, conceals their Haveli dispute from her.
  2. Rajvinder Kaur Atwal attempts to persuade Beant to sell the land, but he steadfastly refuses. The Atwals make a forceful move to seize the land.
  3. Heer is rescued from danger by her friend Jeet, who embraces the name “Jeet” given by her, abandoning his real name, Ranjha. Heer confronts Kuldeep, Rajvinder’s son, for his disrespectful behaviour.
  4. Rajvinder’s son Janral reprimands his son Sunny and faces haunting memories tied to someone burning while confronting goons.
  5. Kuldeep shows interest in Heer and discovers her teaching Janral’s wife Teji’s kids.
  6. Rajvinder and Janral set fire to the godown with Beant’s crops, but Heer reveals that she and Jeet relocated the crops earlier.
  7. Beant hides the Atwals’ actions and the Haveli case from Heer while his son Gurmeet pursues funds for Canadian PR. Gurmeet’s attempts to convince Beant to sell their land fail.
  8. Heer’s vocal support for farmers against Rajvinder leads to them getting their right wages.
  9. Gurmeet deceives Navjot into signing land transfer papers, sells the land to the Atwals, and spends 3 crore on his Canada trip. Heer and Jeet, working together, retrieve the money.
  10. Heer and Jeet visit Atwal Mansion, where Kuldeep returns their land papers. Navjot pushes for Heer to marry Kuldeep. Rajvinder and Janral become furious upon learning about Kuldeep’s actions.
  11. Navjot insists on Heer marrying Kuldeep. Rajvinder accepts an alliance between Teji’s sister Tanya and Kuldeep. Kuldeep introduces Heer as his chosen partner to Teji.
  12. Jeet realizes his feelings for Heer, but she considers him just a friend. Heer learns about the Haveli dispute and demands papers from Beant.
  13. Navjot aims to separate Heer from Jeet, coercing Jeet to take Heer to Atwal’s party.
  14. Rajvinder resorts to threats and bribery, influencing Beant’s lawyer in the Haveli case. She refuses to forgive her husband for past mistakes.
  15. Jeet fulfils his promise by bringing Heer to the Atwals, where both Heer and Rajvinder are shocked as Kuldeep introduces them. Heer perceives Rajvinder as the one aiming to acquire their land, while Rajvinder recalls Heer as the girl who argued over crop prices.
  16. Rajvinder announces Kuldeep’s alliance with Tanya, but he declares his love for Heer and proposes to her, only to face rejection.
  17. Jeet rescues Kuldeep’s father Sartaj from a fire accident, displaying his heroism.
  18. Suraj’s goons attack Heer’s house, but Jeet protects them. Suraj discovers Heer’s true identity as Beant’s daughter. Rajvinder schemes for Kuldeep to marry Heer, intending to secure the land from Beant and later have Kuldeep wed Tanya once he loses interest in Heer.
  19. Rajvinder proposes Kuldeep’s marriage to Heer, but she refuses. Rajvinder delivers the verdict for Beant’s Haveli case, resulting in a saddened Beant informing the family about the loss.
  20. Despite Heer’s efforts to stop it, Beant’s house and belongings are auctioned off, mostly acquired by Rajvinder. Beant’s heart attack worsens their financial strain.
  21. Rajvinder capitalizes on Beant’s health crisis, positioning herself as the saviour while pressuring Heer into marrying Kuldeep to safeguard their house. Simultaneously, Rajvinder plots to seize Beant’s land and remove Heer.
  22. Kammo, the mother of the girl in the purple dress that Janral burned alive years ago, escapes from the asylum, seeking help from Heer, who was a friend of her daughter Naina.
  23. During Kuldeep and Heer’s engagement, Janral attacks Heer for wearing purple, recalling past trauma. The police arrive to question Janral about Naina’s case, leading to a strained situation.
  24. Heer becomes engaged to Kuldeep, leaving Jeet disheartened. Someone attempts to send Heer a pen drive with CCTV footage of Naina’s burning, but it gets misplaced.
  25. Heer vows to seek justice for Naina and expresses suspicions about Janral to Jeet.
  26. Janral, fearing Heer’s investigation, plans to silence her under the Minister’s threat, hacking into her phone to track Naina’s case.
  27. Janral overhears Heer’s plans to meet someone regarding Naina’s case and decides to follow her. Meanwhile, Jeet goes to check on the man while Heer and Kuldeep are getting married.
  28. Janral arrives before Jeet and fatally injures the man, erasing evidence upon discovering the man sent Heer a pen drive. Before succumbing to his injuries, the man warns Jeet about Heer’s safety.
  29. Janral devises a plan to eliminate Heer if he fails to find the pen drive, while Jeet closely monitors his actions.
  30. Rajvinder acquires Beant’s land as dowry without Heer’s knowledge.
  31. During Heer’s Bidai ceremony, Janral overhears her mention of the pen drive. Jeet attempts to follow Heer but gets rendered unconscious by goons.
  32. Rajvinder exploits Beant’s illness, coercing Heer into marrying Kuldeep to secure their home. Meanwhile, Heer searches for her missing friend Naina, whom Janral killed months ago.
  33. Janral kills a man who sent Heer video footage of him burning Naina but she fails to see it. Assuming Heer would display this footage during her reception as she mentions something regarding a pen drive, Janral, in an inebriated state, attempts to shoot her, but Kuldeep takes the bullet and dies
