GHUM Season 2 – Weekly Overview from W26 (launch)- W3

Weekly 24th June – 30th June (BARC Week 26)

Virat and Sai save the passengers from the terrorists. Sai is tied to a time bomb and Virat refuses to leave her side. 20 years later, Savi aspires to be an IAS officer and stay with her grandmother Bhavani, who wishes to get her married. Reva gives an interview at the Bhosle Institute in Pune.

 

Weekly 1st July – 7th July (BARC Week 27)

Savi intends to avoid meeting the prospective groom.

Reeva’s mother wants her to pursue higher education in London. Reeva learns her family is friends with Bhosle family.

Savi prepares for her first move towards becoming an IAS officer and flees Bhavani’s watch. She dupes Ishaan into giving her a ride to her college bus. She is terrified to see him as the guest of honour at her debate competition.

Savi wins the competition and earns a Bhosle Institute scholarship. Ishaan refuses to acknowledge Savi’s teacher Isha as his mother.

The groom’s family awaits Savi, while Bhavani learns of Savi’s absence. Ishaan gets into an accident.

 

Weekly 8th July -14th July (BARC Week 28)

When Savi fails to meet the potential groom’s family, Bhavani beats her up and ends her studies.

Ishaan’s family is overjoyed to learn that despite meeting Isha, he did not acknowledge her.

Bhavani persuades the groom’s family to give them another chance. Despite Savi’s efforts to undermine her impression. The groom, Samarth persuades his family to accept Savi.

Ishaan and Reeva bond as they spend time together.

Savi learns that Samarth’s family wants to oppress her after her marriage. She requests that Vinu speak with Bhavani, but he betrays her and complains to Bhavani instead.

 

Weekly 15th July – 21st July (BARC WEEK 29)

 

Savi agrees to get married to the groom of Bhavani’s choice. Meanwhile, Riva and Ishaan’s marriage gets fixed.

Reeva abandons her desire to study in London to stay with Ishaan, but Swati emotionally blackmails Reeva into fulfilling her dream.

On Savi’s wedding day, Isha reveals evidence of Samarth’s criminal past to her. Savi shows it to Ashwini, Ninad, and Harinee. They implore Savi to flee.

 

Weekly 22nd July – 28th July (BARC WEEK 30)

 

Savi runs away from her marriage and goes to Isha. Ishaan misinterprets Reeva’s smile and gets saddened.

Isha hides Savi in her home and asks Shantanu to help Savi get admission to Bhosale Institute. Savi escapes from her family and goes to Pune.

Savi misses her appointment with Shantanu. Isha promises to assist Savi with her lodging.

Savi ends up staying at Ishaan’s office. Next day, Ishaan throws Savi out of his office.

Shantanu requests his family to give Savi a chance. Savi gets late to meet Shantanu and interrupts the board meeting.

 

Weekly 29th July – 4th Aug (BARC WEEK 31)

 

Harinee takes Savi home and convinces the family to let her stay there.

Despite Savi winning a basketball challenge, Ishaan refuses to give her a scholarship. Harinee pays Savi’s college fees by selling her jewellery.

Ishaan gets upset with Reeva when she sends him a gift. The family members worry for him, and try to cheer him.

Ishaan refuses to help Savi get admission at any cost, and Kiran questions his decision.

 

Weekly 5th Aug – 11th Aug (BARC WEEK 32)

 

Savi finally gets admission at Bhosale Institute. Shantanu informs Isha about Ishaan.

Surekha blames Shantanu for bringing Isha back into their lives. Yashwanth then demands that Shantanu divorce Isha or leave their house.

Ayush harrases Savi, and then Durva and he lock Savi in the classroom. Savi hurts herself while escaping from the room.

Ishaan finds Savi in college. Savi then tells Ishaan  who locked her in the classroom.

Ishaan fails to gather the accused students, and then Savi decides to get justice without Ishaan’s help and protests outside college.

 

 

Weekly 12th Aug – 18th Aug (BARC WEEK 33)

 

Savi accuses Ayush of sexually harassing her and demands Ishaan to give her justice. Asmita takes Savi to Bhosale House after the accident.

Yashwanth tells Surekha to take care of Savi. Ishaan gets shocked after seeing Savi in his house. Savi learns about Isha and Ishaan’s relationship.

Surekha persuades Savi to drop a complaint against Ayush. Savi leaves Bhosale House after learning about the Ayush and Bhosale family connections.

Savi gathers a crowd and journalists outside the college to seek action against those who harassed her.

After Anvi’s confession, Ishaan rebukes Anvi and Durva. Ishaan then decides to punish Ayush and Durva.

 

Weekly 19th Aug – 25th Aug (BARC WEEK 34)

Ishaan rusticates Ayush and Durva from college after learning their deeds.

Ishaan challenges Savi by giving her the task of organizing the college Ganesh festival, while Durva plans to ruin it.

Ishaan tries to stop Isha from carrying out the inspection, but Isha refuses to budge.

 

Weekly 26th Aug – 1st Sept (BARC WEEK 35)

Ayush and Durva try to ruin Savi’s effort by setting the pandal on fire, but Savi manages to fix it and earns acclaim.

Nishikanth hires a goon to keep an eye on Isha while Mandar sends his men to kill Isha.

Isha threatens Nishikant and Yashwanth to take action against them by exposing their misdeeds.

Manipulated by Surekha, Ishaan insists Isha sign her and Shantanu’s divorce papers.

At the college campus, someone shoots at Isha. Distraught, Ishaan rushes Isha to the hospital.

Weekly 2nd Sept – 8th Sept (BARC WEEK 36)

Ishaan donates blood to Isha and signs a bond, revealing that he is her son.

Surekha creates misunderstandings between Isha and Ishaan, when she notices Ishaan getting emotionally attached to her.

Savi learns Bhosles are involved in Isha’s attack. Mandar gets arrested.

Weekly 9th Sept – 15th Sept (BARC WEEK 37)

Isha learns from Savi that Ishaan did not ask for money for her treatment.

Savi chastises Vinu as she learns that Mandar and Vinayak have allied to attack Isha.

Ishaan grows curios to discover that Shukla ji has been a temporary employee to date.

The Bhosales celebrate Ishaan’s birthday in the same hotel where Savi and Isha are staying.

Shantanu returns from Vipassana on Ishaan’s birthday, spots Isha and takes her to the party to bless Ishaan.

Ishaan refuses to accept Isha as his mother, leaving her in a state of shock.

Weekly 16th Sept – 22nd Sept (BARC WEEK 38)

Ishaan and Savi both reach the police station to lodge a missing complaint about Isha.

Isha is found in her old home.

Concerned about Isha’s mental condition, Shantanu leaves home to stay with Isha.

Isha withdraws the complaint against Vinu.

Harinee becomes pregnant, and in her absence, Kiran sexually assaults Savi.

Savi decides to move into the college hostel room. However, Ishaan flatly forbids Yashwanth from granting a hostel room to Savi.

 

Weekly 23rd Sept – 29th Sept (BARC WEEK 39)

Kiran privately convinces Yashwant and Ishaan not to grant Savi the hostel by defaming Savi, while Savi resolves to fight for her rights as per the rules.

Yashwanth goes to Isha’s house and persuades Shantanu to return home by emotionally blackmailing him about Ishaan.

Yashwanth’s attempt to convince Isha and Shantanu to divorce fails.

Savi tries to get Kiran arrested for trying to hit Harinee, but Kiran’s parents request Savi not to complain.

Savi gets attacked by goons, but Ishaan saves her and takes her to Isha’s house.

Ishaan’s family instigate him against Savi, calling her characterless.

After Ishaan insults Savi, Isha and Shantanu console her. Isha advises Savi to return to Ramtek with her. Savi exposes Kiran by recording his confession.

Weekly 30th Sept – 6th Oct (BARC WEEK 40)

Savi proves her innocence to the college by presenting Kiran’s confession video, causing Ishaan to regret his actions.

Durva and Ayush frame Savi for cheating in the exam.

Under Nishikant and Yashwanth’s pressure, Ishaan reluctantly expels Savi from college without allowing her any chance of self-justification.

While checking the exam papers, Ishaan gets doubtful and realises that he has punished Savi for Durva’s offence.

Nishikant, embarrassed by Durva’s actions, decides to leave the house, while Surekha and Yashwanth convince him otherwise.

Weekly 7th Oct – 13th Oct (BARC WEEK 41)

Ishaan publicly apologises to Savi, withdraws her rustication and accuses Durva and her friends of cheating, making Nishikant upset.

However, Savi does not back down from her decision to return to Ramtek.

Savi takes Harinee to the police station and complains about Kiran with ACP Bajirao.

Savi finally accepts Ishaan’s heartfelt apology at Shantanu’s place but sticks to her decision to go to Ramtek due to accommodation issues.

Ishaan goes to great lengths to secure a hostel room for Savi.

Weekly 14th Oct – 20th Oct (BARC WEEK 42)

Savi’s plan to arrange a farewell meeting between Isha and Ishaan before Isha leaves for Ramtek doesn’t go well.

Intending to help Savi, Ishaan accidentally locks himself and Savi inside her hostel room with no means of communication.

Ishaan becomes emotional, listening to Savi’s life struggle and vows to support her in achieving her dreams.

Shantanu helps them come out of the room, while Surekha doubts Savi’s intention.

Worried over Ishaan’s inclination towards Savi, Surekha plans to get Ishaan married to some other girl.

During Navaratri preparations, Durva instigates Savi into slapping her, causing Ishaan to intervene.

Weekly 21st Oct – 27th Oct (BARC WEEK 43)

Durva apologizes to Savi for her past misdeeds. Surekha searches for potential matches for Ishaan and Durva.

Bajirao flirtatiously dances with Savi during Navratri which makes Ishaan jealous.

Savi gets Kiran arrested for beating Harinee making her lose her child. Harinee tries to commit suicide, but Savi persuades her otherwise.

Savi dissuades Harinee from withdrawing her complaint against Kiran. She later reveals the truth to Bhavani.

Savi gets upset when Ishaan’s misbehaviour. Later, the Latkars arrive to meet Durva as the Patils.

Weekly 28th Oct – 03rd Nov (BARC WEEK 44)

The Latkars win over the Bhosales. Despite Ishaan’s attempts, Savi is still furious over his misbehaviour. She calls him unfit to be her mentor. Later, Ishaan decides to be her friend.

At Harinee’s house, Sushila insults Savi for sending Kiran to jail. Elsewhere, Samarth agrees to marry Durva.

Savi gets an undercover job with a certain Rupa ma’am, for which she must follow strict rules. For the sake of the job, Savi requests Ishaan to change the timing of the cultural meeting but he rebukes her instead.

Savi decides to resign from the post of secretary; an appeal she later withdraws. Ishaan arranges for a birthday party for Savi. Later, he follows her go into Rupa ma’am’s haunted bungalow.

 

Weekly 4th Nov – 10th Nov (BARC WEEK 45)

Ishaan learns that Roopa is a famous writer who has hired Savi for her novel.

Upon learning about Savi’s financial condition Ishaan decides to secretly help her. Later, he arranges a surprise birthday party and gets Savi to meet Harinee, Isha and Ashwini, making her emotional.

Bajirao takes all the credit for the party, enraging Ishaan. Meanwhile, Reeva is set to return to India.

Weekly 11th Nov – 17th Nov (BARC WEEK 46)

Savi discovers Latkars are again establishing a deceitful alliance with Durva and takes it upon herself to expose them.

Surekha arranges a suitress, Revathy for Ishaan. However, Ishaan accidentally performs the Kojagari Purnima ritual with Savi instead of Revathy.

With Ishaan’s assurance, Savi takes Harinee to the Bhosale house to sing. Unfortunately, both get humiliated by Surekha without Ishaan’s knowledge.

Weekly 18th Nov – 24th Nov (BARC WEEK 47)

Savi gets the Latkars arrested.

During the cultural fest, Surekha and Durva’s ploys to defeat Savi backfire and bring Savi and Ishaan closer.

Surekha insults Isha at the Bhosale Institute gate, thus disallowing her from entering the college as a judge.

Weekly 25th Nov – 1st Dec (BARC WEEK 48)

Durva and Ayush’s attempt to harass Savi fails during the dance competition when Ishaan stands by Savi and gives a stunning performance with her.

Reeva emotionally expresses her desire to reenter Ishaan’s life while Ishaan and his family turn her away.

Savi grows worried as she learns Ninad is critically ill.

Weekly 2nd Dec – 8th Dec (BARC WEEK 49)

Savi and Isha help Reeva secure the teaching job at Bhosale Institute, unaware of Ishaan’s objection.

Savi arranges Ninad’s treatment in a charity hospital on her own as Vinayak shirks his responsibilities.

Weekly 9th Dec – 15th Dec (BARC WEEK 50)

Ishaan arranges funds for Ninad’s surgery, which makes Savi truly grateful towards him.

Savi’s involvement in Ninad’s treatment improves Bhavani and Savi’s relationship.

Savi learns through Shantanu what happened between Isha and Ishaan in Ishaan’s childhood.

Weekly 16th Dec – 22nd Dec (BARC WEEK 51)

Savi’s attempt to resolve the misunderstanding between Isha and Ishaan through a drama backfires as Ishaan’s childhood is made public. The Bhosales lash out at her.

The Latkars get released from jail and resolve to seek revenge on Savi.

Ishaan is shocked to learn that Reeva earlier agreed to go to London on her mother’s suicide threat.

Weekly 23rd Dec – 29th Dec (BARC WEEK 52)

Ishaan publicly recognizes Isha as his mother, causing Surekha to suffer an attack.

Surekha finalizes Reeva and Ishaan’s wedding, intending to keep Ishaan away from Savi and Isha. Later, Reeva ecstatically accepts Ishaan’s marriage proposal.

Bhavani is worried as Savi receives gifts from a secret admirer.

Weekly 30th Dec  – 5th Jan 24 (BARC WEEK 1 )

Reeva and Ishaan’s wedding is set for next Tuesday. Samrudh plans to forcibly marry Savi on the present day. Ishaan, away for work, encounters Ninad in Nagpur, learning about Savi’s secret admirer. Samrudh plots to abduct Savi’s family. Ishaan, prompted by Ninad, safeguards Savi, foiling Samrudh’s plan at her felicitation. Isha realizes her insignificance to Ishaan. Surekha, paranoid, orders Reeva to keep Savi away from Ishaan. Samrudh’s men kidnap Savi’s family after the ceremony.

Weekly 6th Jan  – 12th Jan(BARC WEEK 2 )

Samrudh calls Savi and forces her to marry, holding her family at gunpoint.

Ishaan reaches Samridh’s place without informing Savi, but his imprudence causes Samridh to explode the factory, killing the Chavans.

Savi is devastated by the death of her family members while Ishaan fails to confess his guilt for their deaths. However, Harinee survives.

Weekly 13th Jan – 19th Jan (BARC WEEK 3)

Kiran donates blood to Harinee, intending to win Savi’s trust while his true intent is to marry Savi once Harinee dies.

Ishaan and Reeva’s Haldi ceremony commences.

Out of guilt, Ishaan agrees to Harinee’s dying wish that he will marry Savi.
